Keynote and Oral presentation guidelines

Keynote and oral presentation are 30 and 15 min, respectively (including time for questions and discussion).

Computer data projection and a computer will be provided in all rooms. Please note that you will NOT be able to use your own computer.  If you have additional projection requests, please contact us soon on epc6@nhm.ac.uk. The Organising Committee will then consider whether such facilities can be made available and will notify you.

All speakers must check-in with the technician at the Speakers Ready Room. This is a room located behind the registration desk in the foyer. If using a PowerPoint (or any other computer) presentation, please note you need to bring it on a Memory stick (using the USB port in the computer) and load it on one of the meeting's computers in the Speakers’ Ready Room, the day before the start of the session. The meeting computers in the session halls are being supplied with Office Windows 7. Please format your presentation to Windows 7. The format for all presentations should be 4:3.

If combining video films with PowerPoint, please make sure to check it in the session hall where your lecture is taking place during a coffee or lunch break prior to your session, at least 30 minutes before the start of the session - even after checking it in the Speakers’ Ready Room.
