EPC6 Programme

EPC6 will explore a great diversity of topics including algal diversity, ecology, genomics, cell biology and applied phycology.

The conference schedule includes the following highlights:

  • Welcome reception (19:00, Sunday 23th Aug)
  • Public lecture by Jason Hall-Spencer on ocean acidification (20:00, Tuesday 25th Aug)
  • Four full conference days featuring four plenary sessions and a total of 16 scientific symposia
  • All posters will be on display throughout the entire meeting
  • The Irene Manton Session, offering a stage for our most talented young scientists (13:30, Tuesday 25th Aug)
  • The Student Symposium organized by and for student (14:30, Thursday 27 Aug)
