Description

During the Interreg Polder2Cs project overflow tests on a grass sloped levee have been executed. This dataset contains the raw data of the overflow tests executed in February and March 2021 on test stretches B_OF6, B_OF7, B_OF7a, B_OF7b, B_OF8, B_OF9, B_OF10 and B_OF11 in the Belgian part of the Hedwige and Prosperpolder. Measurements of water level and flow velocity were executed (time series). With the camera system, the damage of the grass cover layer and also the water flow (with low frequency camera monitoring) during the tests were measured. Also some manual drawings of the damage of the grass cover layer were made. For the different test stretches, the raw data contain data of damage recordings, recordings of the water flow, some damage drawings, data of LIDAR-measurements, data of LSPIV-measurements and data of PTV-measurements.

Data were generated with the measurement system during the overflow tests executed in February and March 2021 on test stretches B_OF6, B_OF7, B_OF7a, B_OF7b, B_OF8, B_OF9, B_OF10 and B_OF11 in the Belgian part of the Hedwige and Prosperpolder. This dataset contains the raw data of damage pictures and pictures of the flow field  taken with 4 cameras on a structure above the test section. For test stretch B_OF11 also drawings of the damage of the grass cover layer were made. LIDAR-measurements were carried out on test stretches B_OF6, B_OF8, B_OF9 and B_OF11, Particle tracking (PTV) was executed at test stretch B_OF8, LSPIV-measurements were executed at test stretch B_OF11
