Description
The dataset consists of data from grazing assays along an exposure-gradient in the Northern Baltic Sea, consisting of naturally varying grazer communities, aquatic plant species, and epiphytic diatoms sampled in August 2024. The data includes variables linked to the grazer community (grazer taxa richness, biomass of different taxa and total biomass), the plant community (species used in the grazing assay, grazing, grazing rate and biomass-standardized grazing rates), and the epiphytic diatom community (species richness, shannon diversity, functional dispersion, community weighted mean traits, and dissimilarities in community composition). The data was collected by Tiina Salo, Marie C. Nordström and Leena Virta. Scope Keywords: Biodiversity · Community composition · Ecosystem processes · Trophic interactions · XYZ ASCII · Hanko · Northern Baltic · Bacillariophyceae · Crustacea · Gastropoda · Plantae Temporal coverage
