Abstract
This study aims to analyse the current and future role of port labour in the Flemish ports in light of the competitiveness of Flanders as a logistics region. The analysis includes an evaluation of the current port labour systems in light of logistics Flanders. Recommendations are made in order to reform existing port labour systems, so as to improve the competitive advantage of Flemish ports and the logistics Flanders as a whole.
