Abstract
On one hand the proposed project includes the deduction of modelparameters from lithostratigraphic information and geophysical well logs. On the other hand the parameters will be derived from the calibration of mathematical models. In these two different cases models will simulate the density dependent flow so that the fresh water head and salt content can be compared at different scales. This would enable one to evaluate the effects of the expected sea level rise more precisely (diminishing of fresh water stocks, shifting of the salt-fresh water border,.).
