Abstract
    This paper reports on several collections of deep-sea (130-3,600 m) Cephalaspids, collected in recent yrs by various French expeditions: Noratlante, Walda, Biacores, Thalassa. All 31 spp concerned are from the Northern Atlantic but Cylichnium waldae sp.n. collected in 1,756 m off the coast of Angola. The spp have their anatomy described and systematic position discussed; the gross anatomy of the genera Crenilabrum, Meloscaphander, Mamillocylichna and Cylichnium is given for the 1st time; Meloscaphander imperceptus, Mamillocylichna abyssicola, Philine azorica, Philine monilifera and the gen Inopinodon are described as new.
