Abstract

This interdisciplinary project explores the health effects of coastal environments for older adults, focusing on physiological stress, cognitive outcomes, and physical activity. It uses wearable technology in a novel two-stage approach that combines lab and real-life walking experiments. It aims to establish a dose-response relationship, guiding future interventions to address the healthcare burden from aging.
