Abstract
    The marine benthic red algae from the Bulusan coast of southeastem Luzon, Philippines are documented. Of the 130 species listed, 36 are newly recorded for the Philippines and 40 are illustrated. Corynocystis prostrata Kraft gen. et sp. nov. (Gigartinales) is herein described for the first time.
