This database is part of the marine organisms data management system from the Japanese Oceanographic Data Centre, and contains marine observation data, mainly plankton.
Identified data set including about 290,000 records of the plankton observation data observed by the Japanese institutes concerned (Ministry of Environment, Fishery Agency, Meteorological Agency and Local gorvernments etc.) from 1951 to 2006.
