Description
Biodiversity of fish-larvae and plankton (phyto- and zooplankton) on the continental shelf between Terre Adélie and the Mertz Glacier Tongue. more
The ICOTA-PELAGANT programmes are an international project involving France, Belgium and Australia. Since 2003, annual surveys on the continental shelf between Terre Adélie and the Mertz Glacier Tongue are conducted to study the biodiversity of plankton and fish-larvae and its control by hydrological factors. These surveys are carried out on the R/V "Astrolabe" and are funded by IPEV, Zone Atelier Antarctique of CNRS and BELSPO.
