Abstract
    A review of world swordfish fishing, processing, trade, and consumption by Canada and the United States and including Greenland. This document examines historical developments through the mid-1990’s and provides some indication of future trends in swordfish fishing by Canadian and United States fishermen. The volume provides readers with detailed information about fishing grounds, catches, fleet, fishing gear, ports, processing, trade (exports and imports), consumption research, bycatch, joint venture, international relations, and future trends.
