| Abstract |
A monthly survey of zooplankton has been conducted from March 1982 to March 1983 in three shallow stations of Thau, a northern-mediterranean lagoon. These stations differ by their distance from the entry of sea water in the lagoon. The sites under observation are subjected to unpredicted changes, as well in the water displacement as in the organization of zooplankton communities. These modifications are strongly influenced by weather conditions. The collected zooplankton species correspond to elements usually found in marine neritic communities. Chronological clustering and species association analysis may allow, on one hand, to locate groupments of species in each station, and on the other hand to put forward the contribution of the recruitment to the community. |
