Abstract
    Svalbard has a diverse and abundant marine mammal community. This booklet and on-deck ID sheet are intended to serve as field identification guides to these mammals. Additionally the booklet provides some key information about the marine mammal species a visitor to Svalbard may encounter in the coastal areas and adjacent waters around the archipelago.
