Beschrijving
The goal of this research is to get knowledge about the migration routes of silver eel in the North Sea Canal area and the hinterlands. Potential barriers will be investigated including several fish passages, 'Zeesluis IJmuiden' and the ' Zoutdam'. Also, there will be information gathererd about the spawning migration of some freshwater fish species between the North Sea Canal and the Spaarne.
