| Abstract |
Reproductive impairment may be evaluated by comparing the number of live young grass shrimp hatched to a theoretical number of eggs, estimated from body length-egg number regressions based on natural populations. The effect of sublethal tress on this parameter and on length, weight and days to spawning were investigated. Adult Palaemonetes pugio were exposed to petroleum industries effluent (ARM) for 12 wk. |
