| Abstract |
The top of the Jemelle Formation, the Hanonet Formation and the base of the Trois-Fontaines Formation (Eifelian - Givetian) outcropping in the railway section in the north-east of the station of Pondrôme are described and the inventory of the brachiopod fauna is drawn up. The pentamerid, atrypid and spiriferid brachiopods are studied with more details. Stratigraphic correlations with the Couvin region and the Eifel are established. The Eifelian - Givetian boundary is briefly discussed. |
