| Abstract |
Pycnogonid material from the Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle, Paris, collected by French oceanographic campaigns to New Caledonia, Fiji and Tonga in 1993, 1999 and 2000, is described. Of the thirteen species recorded, a new species of Colossendeis is described from Fiji and two new ammotheid species are described from New Caledonia, one in each of the genera Cilunculus and Dromedopycnon. In addition, Cilunculus scaurus, Anoplodactylus typhloides and Pycnogonum (Nulloviger) moniliferum are recorded for only the second time; the opportunity is taken to revise the description of the latter in the light of damage to some of the type specimens. |
