Abstract
    The author observed over several months, the contents of incubation sacs in L. saxatilis female during the gestation period. The discontinuous presence of stage I and of the first segmentation stages of fecundated ovules shows a true parallelism with variations of air temp; cooling is synchronous with slackening, and at times, with an interruption of laying ovule. The hypothesis of an endogenous rhythm has been considered.
