IMIS

Data came from study of patterns of distribution of benthic sessile assemlages (Ionian Sea, Greece). Data were collected in June 2001. Sampling was carried out in 7 random location along the Greek rocky coast 10s-100s of km apart one each other. At each location, 4 sites (separated by 100s - 1000s of m) were randomly selected. At each of the 56 sites, four habitats, namely the mid-shore assemblage (0.2-0.4 m above the sea level), the low-shore assemblage (intertidal zone), the subtidal at 5 m depth, and the subtidal at 15 m depth were sampled. the number of replicate is 4 for high and low shore and 10 for both depths in the subtidal
