Abstract
    Three species of the genus Torpedo are reported from Alexandria shores. The external morphology of the three species is studied and taxonomically treated. A key for their identification is elaborated. The anatomy of the digestive system, the heart and afferent branchial vessels, as well as the nervous system is given.
