Abstract
    The species structure of Myctophidae from 9 oceanic and 2 neritic regions of the Atlantic Ocean is analyzed. Eighty six species belonging to 23 genera have been identified. Association and trends of change in the species structure of myctophid communities with water dynamics are discussed. New information is reported on the distribution of several species.
