Abstract
Genus Streblochondria Newell 1938, an extinct marine Pectinoid bivalve from the late Paleozoic to early Mesozoic, is known for its wide distribution across the globe. In this study, we redescribe one species, Streblochondria subovata, and describe one new species, Streblochondria dalianensis sp. nov., based on specimens collected from the Fuzhouwan area in Liaoning Province, Northeast China. The identification of the new species expands the fossil record and contributes to the diversity of Paleozoic molluscs.
