Abstract
    A comparative study of echo-sounding profiles and underwater photographs taken along them brings precisions to the morphology, sedimentology and distribution of benthic populations. It is suggested that periglacial solifluction may have contributed to the deposition of the layers of stones and boulders on the Paleozoic and Eocene grounds off Roscoff.
