Abstract
    The application of mean frequency and dominance, association among species and diversity indices, shows the presence of a boreal lusitanian Tellina community in the Bancos arenosos of the El Barquero estuary. Also it is possible to prove the existence of a clear spatial distribution of the fauna according to the tidal level in the Area Longa beach.
